Wasal ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Wasal Agent mobile application. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When your delivery partner creates your agent account, we store:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Profile picture (if uploaded)

1.2 Location Data

We collect precise location data (GPS coordinates) when you are marked as "online" in the app. This includes:

• Foreground location: collected while the app is open and visible.
• Background location: collected while the app is running in the background, even when the screen is off.

Location data is collected every 10 meters of movement and transmitted to our servers every 30 seconds while you are online.

Why we collect location data:

• To dispatch and assign delivery orders to the nearest available agent.
• To provide real-time tracking of deliveries for merchants and customers.
• To calculate routes and estimated delivery times.
• To display your position on the map for your delivery partner.

Location tracking stops when you set your status to "offline" in the app.

1.3 Camera and Photos

We access your device camera and photo gallery for:

• Delivery proof photos: pictures taken at pickup or delivery to confirm order completion.
• Profile picture: an optional photo you can upload from your gallery.

Photos are uploaded to our secure cloud storage and associated with the relevant order or your agent profile.

1.4 Device Identifiers

We collect:

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token: a unique device identifier used to send you push notifications about new orders and status updates.

1.5 Order Data

We store information about orders you handle, including order numbers, customer names, addresses, delivery status, and timestamps.

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Data Sharing

We share your data only with:

• Your delivery partner company: they can see your location, order history, and profile.
• Merchants: they can see your name and real-time location when you are handling their orders.
• Customers: they can see your name and delivery status for their orders.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Maps Platform: for maps, routing, and geocoding. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase (Google): for authentication, push notifications, and cloud storage. Subject to Firebase Terms of Service.

4. Data Retention

• Location data: retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted.
• Order data: retained for the duration of your employment with the delivery partner, plus 1 year.
• Account data: retained until your account is deactivated by your delivery partner.
• Photos: delivery proof photos are retained with the associated order. Profile pictures are deleted when replaced or when your account is deactivated.

5. Data Security

We protect your data using:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
• Secure cloud storage with access controls.
• Authentication tokens with expiration and rotation.

6. Your Rights

You may:

• View your profile information in the app.
• Update your profile picture and name.
• Request deletion of your account by contacting your delivery partner.

7. Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
